About KBBF

KBBF is a community-based endeavour, focussing on the financial independence and economic wellbeing of Karhade Brahmins across the globe. Traditionally, Karhade Brahmins are known for being industrious and enterprising. Their entrepreneurial skills have made great industrialists like Kirloskars (Kirloskar Group), Pendharkars (Vicco), Prabhudesai (Pitambari), Sandu (Sandu Pharmaceuticals), Puraniks (Dhootpapeshwar Ayurvedic) and many more.

KBBF aims to build upon these core competencies of the community and develop more business leaders.

Started in 2013 with 10 members from Thane City led by Shri Ravindra Prabhudesai of Pitambari Products, KBBF has now grown to over 300 members across Maharashtra State (Pune, Nagpur, Dombivli-Kalyan, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Kolhapur). KBBF is soon expanding beyond the boundaries of the state (Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, USA, Middle East etc.). Various industries represented are Engineering, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Construction, Real Estate, Food & Agro, Health & Nutrition, Information Technology, Financial Advisory, Investments, Accounting, Business Consulting, HR Training, Education, Art & Craft, Architects, Lawyers, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism etc.

All members meet regularly, exchange ideas, share knowledge and business opportunities for mutual growth. Over the past decade, KBBF has become a vibrant network of successful job creators.
